NO MODS YET! 20" Enkeis with NT420 performance tires coming soon...inspired by genxer36.
I called a Toyota dealer like 210 miles away. They selling a brand new impulse red (a shiny metallic red color) 2008 double cab V6 4X4 automatic with TRD offroad, side airbags, VSC, DLXE audio 6 cd changer, tube steps, and car alarm for 21.4k - its MSRP 33.5k!!! I seriously thinking of trading in my 09 access cab for this one. Basically it's selling for less than it's worth cause dealer said they had it on their lot for a year!

Tell me what u think! I never seen a new Tacoma this low. Should I go for it? Wife asking me for new a baby for months and my access cab can't fit a baby seat. If I decide on a baby or not I want to grab a deal now just incase.

sounds like a good deal but yeah, you should do some homework on it first.

As someone who just brought home a newborn last Sunday, I can tell you that you'll need a DC. Access cab just won't work. I bought my truck last August when I REALLY wanted an FJ but I made the right decision because we found out my wife was pregnant in Feb. If you can do it without getting screwed on the trade in, do it.

Not necessarily, no. I have a buddy who had an '08 for 4 months, traded it in on a Tundra and only lost $600. It can be done.

I also expected that something was up so I drilled both their interenet sales and general sales manager to check and see if they have their numbers correct. It has 120 miles on odometer from test drives. No damage disclosure. Never been titled. Let me know any more questions I need to ask?
The fees not included in price: $279 processing fee $745 freight. And my state's sales taxes :(
Truck is one year old and I suspect they really want to get rid of it because economy isn't doing well and the car industry is suffering and Manufacturers are now doing 0% APR on most models!
Toyota company said they'll still cover me lifetime maintenance if I were to trade for another tacoma because I still have brand new 09. but it's not transferrable to next owner.

No but you're trying not to hurt yourself too bad in this deal. If you want to get a good deal, nickel and dime them to death because you know they will in return.

It has the VSC and side airbags, so he's not really missing out on much... If it makes sense financially, might as well do it. I got my '09 DC expecting to have a kid/kids in the next year or two, and the safety options were what sold the wife on it. Sounds like a great deal on the '08.
