This is Fab Fours Premium rear bumper.
    2018

Three bolts that mount bracket to the frame. I cannot push the bumper far enough to have all three bolt secured. I keep hitting the black plastic, under tail light and/or lower fender.
I follow the instruction. Nothing was completely secured. I can still move the bumped. But that was the farthest I can have the bracket.
I keep hitting the plastic, I moved the bumper side to side, up and down. With the same result.

Anyone had the same issue or can help out? Dont understand what\s going on.
I'm not a noob with the wrenches.
Anyone with the Fab Fours rear prem bumper on 2018?

In this day I would not be surprised you got the wrong brackets

How much longer do they need to be??

Fab Fours are good at marking the brackets and bumper. They had numbers on them. Match for 2018.

    about 0.5-0.75"

Well off that much something is wrong

Perhaps the wrong jig was used in drilling holes.

sounds like talking to the Fab Four people is in order .

They are, the bumper should line up perfect. Check that nothing is bent on the mount brackets

A few additions to make me feel cool.
It looks pretty slick to get a piece of aluminum or plastic and apply red reflector tape to it and secure it on the inside of FF bumper where they do the logo cutout with 3M tape.

Here’s what it looks like, something is keeping it from sliding in, check both sides of the bumper mounting area. You can even leave the factory plastic spacers on in the 2nd pic.

    Thanks for the photos.
I was hitting the black plastic under the tail light. it was preventing me from sliding in.

You got a great fit. You mounted it low and on an angle?

Just looked at your pics, something is up. Are the truck frame bolts screwed off enough so the bumper slides on?

They've made thousands of these bumpers and definitely didn't just mess up one random one that they sent to you.

On third look, take the two black plastic pieces off on each side of the stock bumper and see if the FF bumper goes on.
