    How are you liking the disc brakes? Is that the option that fits 16” wheels or is it the bbk disc conversion that needs 17” wheels?

    I really like the discs. The truck stops better than it ever has now. Although, I also did the Sequoia master. Not sure it’s worth doing the discs without the MC.

    I bought the kit that used 4Runner calipers. It’ll work with 16” wheels.

    Details on the sequoia master? Still keep abs and what not? Pricing? Worth doing without upgrading brakes themselves? Looking to get some better stopping power as well but on a budget

    The Sequoia MC simply sends the required amount of fluid to the rear discs to operate them effectively. I can’t see any reason to add it if you aren’t planning to do Rear disc brakes. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong.

    At this point I think I’m better off waiting to figure out what I want to do for a rear axle hopefully next year, and wait until budget allows for big brake kit, rear disks on whatever axle I do. Just heard the sequoia/ tundra master mentioned a few times recently so though I’d try to grab details.

    I have to send my 3rd member back to ecgs to replace the arb internal air seal for the second time this year.. so I briefly thought about following your lead and getting a new axle. For what it costs I just can’t justify it. I’ll just have to get my seal replaced and think about the rear disc conversion some more.

    That’s another bonus of the 60. The OX locker is awesome.

    But, if I weren’t breaking rear diffs like they were disposable, I would not have spent the money on the 60 either. The supercharger, traction bar, and 35s were just too much for the 8”. Add 37s to the mix, and I knew I needed to upgrade.

    And don’t get me started on leaking ARBs... I sent both of mine back multiple times. If the front leaks again, I’m going to a Harrup.

    Or, another 60 and OX :D

    Since I was crawling under the truck today anyways with a tape measure, I decided to compare apples to apples. Brand new milestar Patagonia Mt 37’s and the factory diff has right about 12” maybe a smidge more clearance under the lowest point.

    So I got my dana 60 installed a few months ago, first drive everything is perfect. Second drive my speedo goes out and abs lights on.

    then I replace the rear harness and both rear speed sensors, no change.

    a few days ago I reset the vsc by jumping pins on the obd2 and Shazam everything works. Until you go over 60 mph and it all lights reappear and speedo is lost.

    any ideas?

    I had the same issue. I ended up changing both sensors and the harness and cleared the codes. All is well now.

    What are you using to clear the wheel speed sensor codes? I bought a real scan tool because the Scangauge II just wasn’t getting the job done.
