Color regrets...

Zero Regrets...

 

Black was a decision I made thinking i’d only keep the truck for a few years. But now that i’m thinking about keeping it (especially if the 4th gen has no MT) i kind of wish i had done a silver, MGM, or cement. Oh well

 

Actually blue pearl wasn't my top choice (it was my wife's turn to pick the color so that's how we ended up with it). After a year, I must admit, I've come to like it.

as soon as I saw the BR I knew I was gonna buy it! I love the color, second is army green, which wasn't out when I bought this. Voodoo blue is nice, but im not sure if I could live with something that bright.

 

I have zero regrets with Cement. I let it go 30 or so days no wash and I could barely tell. Awesome. I had a Pearl White WRX Limited. I thought white would be better than my last deep blue car........

I really like all the colors except the orangy red.

 

I love my black Taco, but it's just so damn hard to keep clean. Looks tight AF when spruced up properly. If I had it to do over again, I'd be MGM all the way.

 

I went in thinking I would purchase a super white Tacoma (living in the Southwest its almost a must) but they didn't have one in stock so I took a chance with a Silver Sky Metallic TRD OR and really like it a lot. It's a little more difficult to keep clean and I just need to be mindful of the paint over time but I like the look. I wasn't sure about the silver, black, and red accents but once I get my Pro Sema wheels on I think it will complete the exterior until I want a new rear bumper, headlights, and lift down the road. The only real drawback is that it tends to be hotter in the summer than a white vehicle but I think that can be mitigated with window tint.

 

Had a 2nd Gen Silver Mica and loved it, found it so so easy to keep clean. I have an MGM 18’ this time around, much harder to keep clean but I love it much more. Looks great with the black wheels and emblems.

 

I wish I wasn't a 28 year old with high blood pressure. If I didn't have high blood pressure then I could have bought a black Tacoma.

 

Top color choices when I was looking for a Pro were Cement and Calvary Blue. I liked the added safety features for the 2018 and couldn't find a manual Calvary Blue remotely close to me.

Ended up "settling" on the white, but it has grown on me. White has never really been a go to color for me and it doesn't pop the same way when it's clean but long term should hold up well (even if it is a single stage paint job). In the end it was always MT > color preference.

 

I bought the 19 in black. Every time i see a Cement on the streets I wonder if I should have gone that route.

Just put a deposit on a 2020 OR in magnetic grey, and already second guessing it... Cement looks good, silver looks good.... but I dunno. I'm sure when it eventually arrives, I'll like the grey just fine.

I love the MGM color on the Tacoma. I think it’s the best color for the truck so I don’t regret it. I do however regret getting Nautical Blue for my wife’s 4runner. Hardest color I ever had to try to keep clean and I have had a matte black vehicle. You look at the blue the wrong way and bam it’s dirty.

 

I had a Nautic Blue car. You are EXACTLY right.

 

We had a 2011 4Runner Blizzard Pearl before the blue one and boy do I miss that color

 

Too funny. My 2014 WRX Limited was Pearl White. It was decent but little micro bits of iron would stick and make ugly. Responded well to clay.
