Cool I tried to do my homework I was looking at the new db cab 4 banger but it was to stock looking. So I said f it I went wit the trd sport -- FYI I went thru capital one and got a great interest rate and it's easy like walking in with cash

 

Was there a trade-in that you are not telling us about, because that is an awesome deal!

What all did you get with it?

I'm in the market myself, but a 4x4 long bed sport and found a 2010. Lowest they'd go is $30.8 and all it has as extras are predator steps and premium alarm. I might as well just get a 2011 for ~500 less and some avid bars for 250 and better alarm for 200.

I ran a metals testing lab in the Navy. We were in the mid-east and crew members would go out in town and buy gold.

They would come into my lab and ask me to test it for them to see if they got a good deal. I would say, "Do you like what you got? Are you happy with it? Do you feel you got a good price?"

They would reply, "Of course." to all these questions.

My advice ... don't go through life questioning yourself. If you hear all sorts of negative replies from members saying, "Oh man, you got ripped off." or "I got mine for $xxxxx.xx, you should have shopped around." you may not be happy.

If that were the case what could you do? Go back to the dealer and say you want a lower price?

I am not being a smartass .... just years of experience has taught me a few things that are being passed along.

Trd sport I skipped out on 4x4

 

Thats still pretty good. I paid $26,500 for mine when it was new.

I got a 2011 they said they would go a lil lower for a 2010 I said I need a 11 , just got my tow hitch cap (reive 2 tow Nissan )
