You don't have to read the policy. Just review the dec page (declarations of coverage)

If it's not there, you're not going to get it, regardless of who claims what.

If you're mad enough, change carriers.

If you have a great deal and like your carrier otherwise, modify the policy to add the rental.

    Move ahead with life.

While I agree guardrails should be well dressed, it's not really it's fault.

If you want to blame shift and sue someone, Google is your target, as Google Maps sent him on the wrong road.

This road was not an easy road to back up. The only way to turn around was to go through the gate. Which I couldn't do. Backing up a hill a quarter mile isn't as easy as you think. But yeah. I should have known that it was a private road.

Ah, the "Kids r so soft nowadays" approach. And I'm not blaming the guardrail. I'm not blaming google maps. Accidents happen. That's why I have insurance.

I'm blaming the insurance company for being shady.

It's Erie. And the guy who did my policy said they automatically put it on there unless someone asks to have it removed.

I've done it. And I've always been covered. Try again.

Maybe next time you should make sure there is rental coverage. Or you could just come in here and cry and moan about it. Nobody cares man

I once had to back down off a mountain a good three or four miles on Jeep trail which was basically a glorified game trail with vertical drops off the side, because there was just enough room for one vehicle and there was a truck coming down the opposite way.

But I’m sorry, I lost my train of thought. So what were you saying again about backing somewhere?
