Yeah... no way you’re getting a GX for 9k unless it’s got a million miles and a rebuilt title with frame damage.

You’re off on this one fam. If he’s talking gx470 which I assume he is... they aren’t crazy expensive. But I’m trying to see something.

But you get that for $9k which has Nav which is what you don’t want. And 180k miles

    or
A used 5th gen with 150k for $14k. A trail version at that

the Runner is also cheaper to build due to more aftermarket support

But aye you do you fam.

    I paid $9k cash for my GX470

Lexus service records every 5k miles for the entire life of the vehicle

and the Nav is not to bad.

It’s not the Nav that’s bad but can’t the headunit get funky or something? I was looking in GX’s HARDDDD before I got my runner and I vaguely remember research saying the Nav years were bad for some reason

Probably won't buy one honestly. I would love.to have one with less than 150k. But I'll likely buy another first gen taco or t100 for my next project. I want something with a 5 speed and a v6.

Still needs some minor adjustments but it's on there. The kit said to reuse the factory bolts on the sides but that must have been for the early years with steel bumpers, as my plastic bumper didn't even attach to the side.of the frame. Anyone know what size those bolts are?

Not that easy. The navigation unit is tied in with the AC unit. It’s a lot more difficult to replace
