No sway bar issues here with my 19 Off Road.

With no other changes, putting this Eibach kit is a bit stiffer than stock OR. Anyone agree?

Just an fyi, if anyone is confused, the issue is not rubbing on the coils, it is after adding the sway bar relocation kit that the sway bar slams on the cross member support brackets. Go back to see pics in previous posts if you aren't sure where the issue is.

I think that's not really debatable - most find the OR ride way too soft. The question is how much do Eibach's firm it up? That's subjective, but i'm looking to take like 50% of the mushiness out of the stock OR suspension while remaining compliant on uneven roads, bridge expansion joints, etc.

So forego the relocation kit (which isn't really needed on the bottom circlip, right?) and all is well. Im about to pull the trigger on this setup for my 2020 OR and really don't want any sort of headaches for me or my installer. The value prop on this setup for a daily on roader is quite good.

No, that is wrong, without the relocation kit your sway bar will rub on the coils.

I used a cheap flea bay relocation kit. $30, 10 min install, zero hitting coils or anything.

It only moves the sway bar back about 1/2 inch

Ok thank you. Is this just with this Eibach kit? Or 6112's do this, FOX CO's do this, etc? Wheelers told me the Eibach kits ship with a relocation kit...

I’m really enjoying my kit. It’s exactly what I wanted and for the price I couldn’t beat it. This kit accompanied by a good tire pressure it’s awesome. My previous stock OR suspension was way too soft and bouncy. On the freeway I hated driving it. Any bump I felt as others have described a sort of trampoline effect.

I know it’s subjective, but I think it rides comparable to stock. Maybe slightly more firm. Regardless I really like it so far.

Then please let us/me know if I need to bypass this kit in favor of something else. I really don't want to have this installed just to find out the sway bar is knocking around on the cross member. I like the kit, the price point and the brand - but I will not put up with what seems to be like a design flaw.

And please be honest if you think I need to look elsewhere for a suspension lift.

Finally got mine out on some trails today. Although the drivers side swaybar is extremely close to the support brackets, I never heard it hit. The Eibach suspension improved on-road handling to near sports car handling compared to my stock SR suspension. Off-road the extra couple inches of clearance in the front and getting the hitch up in the air a bit really helps the angles. I did not scrape my front skid plate up like I had in the past and the suspension did not feel harsh at all. It really handles the bumps a lot better than stock. Helps to air down, which I did to about 18 psi all around from my normal chalk tested 38 front 30 rear.

You really think a employee of Eibach, who is most likely in sales/marketing, is going to tell you to look elsewhere for a lift?

I don’t believe any other company includes swaybar relocation brackets, so you can go Bilstein or whatever, but then your buying a relocation kit separate and hoping you don’t have the same issue. I have bought this kit also, and waiting to install it so this is a little frustrating to me as well, but sh*t happens when you modify vehicles. I’m sure they will get an answer to us soon enough, until then we just have to work around it....or buy something more expensive! Bilstein 6112s are very tempting, but I just can’t justify the price increase for what I do.

Report back when aligned. I have always felt mine were a little softer than desired. Bad alignment will fuck up ride

I would venture to guess that the people who have issues are installing the relocation bracket backwards.

i have a 2019 sr5. looking for a good level kit to give me a little more clearance for mild off roading as well as a more agressive stance. is this kit all i would need to order? seeing alot of talk about sway bar issues and want to install this myself with as little headache as possible. Will any additional suspension parts be required ?

That would be really hard to do without drilling and tapping new holes in the frame or cutting out the vertical part of the frame that the bracket sits up against.
