i can not tell if these spots are rusty under the paint or not!

i suppose the halogen light test will tell me yay or nay

 

The amount of money you spent trying to renovate the rust is gunna end up being more then that truck is worth

 

i have no clue what the truck is worth lol
its kind of in limbo...

 

do you plan to drive it forever

Damn. I cant imagine staying in these small dated trucks for that long

 

I gotta admit I haven't seen that show or I watched an episode 15 years ago and didn't like it. I really don't memba....but he was one of the good guys right?

 

i did see a pic of a 3rd gen on TW in St Louis that really caught my eye
but they probably have mega money into the mods
i can find the pic if you want to see it

Its pretty great. Crazy how i can go from installing a door gasket to fixing a whole rack because it went down in a matter of hours

 

There are some things one cannot put a dollar value on. If you enjoy doing it that's a BIG plus for you. Keep up the good work. Post more pics.

i can tell you what it would cost to replace a near similar is all, at least what they are being listed for
closest one I have found so far was in Hawaii a few months ago that was acceptable to me for replacement

 

And that picture you just posted didn't look to have rust anywhere. Were you being serious?
