Well it did take Sean 3 wks to load his first truck. At least it was a female driver he put his first load into. :rimshot:

I about gave the old timer a heart attack my first time. Gave the bucket lever a bit too much pressure and it instantly dumped the whole scoop in the truck and the bucket slammed the side of the bed. :itllbuffout:

He's turning into quite the truck driver though. Apparently he had never shifted by feel/rpms before now.

Considering a deer is roughly 18", id put the cross hairs just barely over the back or on the back, bullet should drop in to vitals

Going back out to a buddy's property on Camano for late bow. Missed out on two nice bucks when I was there in Sept, just before dark.

I hate it when the opportunity for a shot is that close to dusk. I've had it happen and been called to help find it. Had to come back the next day a couple times too.

@JDAM my father in law tagged out yesterday somewhere in the tree farm. He shot it out the window of his truck. He said something once about listing me as his designated shooter since he's a disabled hunter. Not sure if he was serious or what.

Highly recommend it. You won't have to calculate your cut % if you know your horizontal distance to target. With archery it's very important. A 43 yard angled shot that needs to be shot at 40 could be a clean miss otherwise

It's official. No bucks left in Snoqualmie tree farm.

@JDAM I had to switch gears today at work, I'm running around with the lowboy moving gear off of black Creek. Drove in at 6:15 and a deer jumped across the road headed up hill on the pipeline. . Too dark to see what it was, but figured it would be around when we came back down. Parked at the bridge and walked to the edge of the ROW, there's a deer. Range it at 268yrds. Couldn't put horns on it so crept a bit closer. Ooooh another deer. I'm looking and looking can't put horns on either of them with the fog rolling in. Sit and wait a few min and then a deer comes out from the treeline in a hurry. coworker says oh man that's gotta be a buck going to sniff a does ass. Couldnt put horns on it either. Fog was really messing with our fungschwey*. All of a sudden another seen comes out from the left another GD deer. Fog was just fucking it all up co up couldn't see any of them for a min so we crept closer now at 224yrds but just couldn't put a horn on any of them. 4 MF'n does. :bananadead::frusty:

the deer I saw there was two fat ass doe's and a couple fawns. Not little fawns, probably born last year so to naked eye all looked roughly the same. The last time I was there I was parked at the bottom and in the clover looking up. I had a truck pull up behind me and then two trucks above me on the switch backs looking down. I'm waving my orange hat like hey come on guys!

You got a rifle in your work rig?
I just got cleared to take mon-tue off next week. Then the thur-fri for late season. I have a couple cameras in there with locks on them. Should be able to check them on Saturday. If they weren't stolen.

Everyday from Aug 1st till around Thanksgiving usually. Me and 2 or 3 other guys usually. My AR is getting beat up. Need to start carrying my 700 again.

Today I got moved around since parts hadn't come in for our crusher yet, but I'll be back in the South end tomorrow again. I'll be hitting that spot I took you and @Greddy to last year for the late season

This was from that landing/view point just below the black Creek 3 mile.
