Amanda has been doing the TW orders for a bit now. Last time I worked on an order with Gunny he mentioned he was going to be out for a few days but Amanda, his assistant was going to be making sure my order was shipped as soon as the parts were in since he would be out. Order shipped and arrived without issue. That was back in May or June.

When I need to place an order, I use their site to find what I need then message them with part#s and a request to invoice when ready. Have not had a message go unanswered but haven't ordered from them for a few months.

She's probably just slammed with countless PMs asking for a quote. :notsure:

Can't speak to the shipping charges...

Question for those running coilovers. Just finishing up re-building a set of Donahoe Racing coilovers (basicslly Icon), just need to charge them and then mount coils.

I've got 650# coils and my truck is a Double Cab, with tube bumper, with winch, with 2nd battery under hood, with around 160 pounds of skid plates.

I realize there will probably be some adjustments that need made, but I've never run "coil overs"... where do you guys think a good place to start on the preload would be?

4-5 threads on the passenger side 5-6 threads on the driver side. Should be in the just under 2'' lift area to 2.5'' inch area. Add from there as needed.

Assuming its a 14'' coil anyways.

    Yes... 14" coil.

    Thanks man. I'll start there.

if you don't have a good adjuster tool, don't buy one. They all suck.

Make one from a cheap pry bar.

I just ground it down till it fit.

    nYZ0rd29LHU-JzsYUhTqXtdVBQks2MqTuEgOoqIc_d561d40a87e681f414de418c55289ff6afe48580.jpg

However, I'd tweak the design by NOT cutting of the angled tip. Instead just grind the angled tip till it fits. This way you can fit the tool with the coil overs on the truck since due to the hole spacing and the restrictions of the wheel well you can't do it with a straight one.

Works way better than anything else i've tried. Doesn't bend like every other thing i've tried.

    Right on

I've seen the space restrictions and trying to get in there with tools that don't work (on others trucks). Definately will remember that.

I destroyed the passenger side coil bucket on our last adventure.

We removed the engine to be able to access that area of the frame to facilitate replacing the coil buckets and the engine perches.

The plan is to start repairing the frame mounted items this coming weekend. You are certainly welcome to stop by and check things out.

Any recommendations on where to get extended Front wheel studs? I bought some steelies from a 3rd gen 4runner and only half the threads of the lug nuts engage the studs. Looks like the studs are about .5“ - .75” too short.
