I could get in on a CMC....

I would just need to get the metal for the filler plate.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I like how you have Machete listed there. Lol

Lol, this happens to all my buddies that we share names. Now the real problem is when my other buddy shows up, who we call little josh.
That’s when it gets sticky. This is why I go by JB. This has happened before and I am sure will happen again.
You can blame Brian from ACC for starting all this.

Hey GA taco brethren I been stalking the GA threads for a while. I’m in the Alpharetta area and was hoping you guys could give me some opinions on a setup I was wondering if it would work.

I have a 2016 trd OR and was looking to pickup a set of the Toyota 17” sema
wheels. The tire size I would ideally like to fit would be 255/80/17, my understanding is the 255/85/16 tire clears (barely) keeping suspension stock and using the 16” wheels truck came with. Unfortunately the offset on the 16” wheel is +25 and the sema 17” is +4.
So unfortunately it appears that little bit of offset would likely cause issues fitment wise keeping the suspension stock. My question is do you think a CMC would allow this setup to work or is it still a no go? Many thanks for any help/input.

yes a CMC will allow this to work. With only a CMC, hammered pinch weld, and suspension you could run 285/70/17 with -10 offset.

The GA crew is really cool and nice. And they dont mind out of towners on their trips (drove 8 hrs for a camp trip back in Mar and it was worth it).

I gather that. I met @Built2Ride when I first joined TW and he's a cool guy. Even sold him a knife that he really wanted! Hopefully I'll have some coilovers and some new leaf packs to bring over and put on my truck by then!
