    I calculate the defense has given up less than 39 points in 8 games now. They gave up a few pick 6 on offense. This is going back to the Super Bowl. This is 4.875 points per game. The Patriots are also on a 11 game winning streak.

    I agree with you, though. If the Jets can let the poor kid build a little confidence I think he'll do well for them. But a young guy who's new to the league who spends most of the time running for his life or lying on his back is definitely going to see ghosts. Any QB would start getting flighty under that sort of constant pressure.

    I said in 10 years, and that somebody will probably prove me wrong.

    But yeah, based strictly on the #'s so far, they're probably the best I've seen in the last decade. Even with a 'weak' schedule, there hasn't been another defense from any team in any division in the last 10 years that's allowed just 3 TD's in 7 games, or just a dozen 3rd down conversions. It just doesn't happen.

    Dude, they've played shit teams. There's no way you can properly evaluate the teams defense based on those games.

    With the exception of the Bills the teams the Pats beat are a combined 6 wins and 26 losses. Shit teams. even if you throw the Bills in the mix that combined record soars to

    11-27.
