it was starting to get quite "PC" when I retired in 2012...I cant imagine what will happen in another 10-15yrs...

 

Yep, saw the start of it amongst the commanders my last year on active duty, 2008-2009. It's permeated all the way down through the enlisted ranks now.

One thing for certain, in 10-15 years I'll be retired the second time.

Sadly I call it the pussification of society. So many people are turning it whining little wussies. I'm still the same person I don't like what you say to me I either ignore you or insult you back. Someone insults me, well if I had feelings left it still wouldn't hurt them. One of my close friends I've known for 30+ years now, hell if you heard the start of most of our conversations on the phone you would think we hated each other. It's about 5 minutes of insults back and forth and then 10 minutes of laughing about it.

I just got out this past February. It's way worse than when I first came in around 2007. There's even a SHARP specific bullet built into the NCOER now. I've seen HHC POGs get company grades for making sexist remarks.
