Any under armor needed for Freetown? Currently still have stock skids, but have @victory4x4 sliders with Bilstein 6112s and BFG K02

It's actually just a 3 day pass, I just assumed to call it a weekend.

Those trails look pretty wide. I’d love to do a little off-roading, but don’t really want to scratch the shit out of my truck. Are all the trails at Freetown wide enough to not cause damage?

I’ve done some class IV roads in VT and had a blast, but they were plenty wide.

I too only have stock skids and rock sliders. I haven't been through there in about a year, but it's mainly fire trails nothing extreme. There's a few areas off to the side of some of the fire trails which you'd probably want more protection.

Some of the "puddles" like in the video can get a bit deep especially after rainy weather and there's a few larger rocks (you can also see some in the video) in some of those "puddles".

These are wide. Most areas are more than 2 vehicles wide. Some of the areas were pretty narrow in that winter video. The snow just pushed everything down and into the pathway.

I was worried about the same thing the first couple times I went through. I didn't scratch the shit out of my truck, but did get a couple small scratches along the bed (they buffed out). The "puddles" is where it may force you to pick a side close to brush and you may pick up some scratches. (I hate going after the rain, deep-ish water and engine parts makes me nervous) That being said, if we can get a couple people together I'm up for it!

It's been about a year since I went through there and we've had a few storms so I'm not sure what to expect. The area is traveled by Mass DCM (I believe that's the correct department) as well as. One of the jeep guys I've gone with received a warning from them for going too fast on our last trip.

Is freetown only for motor cycles? According to the mass.gov website, they say only off road motor cycles are allowed?

Yes, the "off-road" trails (which are too narrow unless you want trail pinstripes) are for motorcycles and horses, i've seen ATV's on them too. What I'm talking about are the fire roads strewn throughout that area, most of them are dirt/gravel roads.

@House Forsaken and I are meeting up this Sunday, 11/3, to check out the roads/trails in Freetown SF, MA. We will be sticking to the mainly stock friendly areas since the weather has been real wet. We want to see what the conditions are like. All are welcome to join.

We are meeting at Whites of Eastport at 1030 then hitting the trail at 1100. I’m leaving around 1400, but that doesn’t mean fun has to stop. Hope to see y’all there!

I just got some new suspension that I need to have installed. Anybody here have a good shop that they have worked with or trust in the Providence area? I’m willing to drive a bit if need be.
