Hi everyone, just signed the papers for a new '20 TRD Offroad. It's "in the mail", so I don't actually have it yet. It'll look like this picture, and someday I hope to take it to places like that to get my own pictures.

Looking forward to life with Toyota... I've divorced my '16 Colorado to be here.

Picked it up on Friday... the old, and the new side-by-side.

    Hi Everyone

So, I've had my '20 TRD Offroad Premium for a week now, and put a hair over 900kms on it. Most all of it simply commuting.

The highlights for me compared to the '16 Colorado LT I drove before:
    - Much quieter! This was a surprise to me. Wind noise is less, and even engine/exhaust sounds - the loudest thing is the road noise/
    - Seat is much more comfortable - or at least suited better to me. The big reason I ordered the '20 over the '19 they had on the lot was due to the new seat adjustment options.
    - Tons of new gizmos over what I had that make it a pleasure: Radar cruise, surround view, heated mirrors, auto-dimming rear mirror, power rear window, one-touch up on the passenger window too, automatic climate controls, dual zone climate controls, NAV, radio split screen, Qi phone charger
    - Smoother ride. Rides like a heavier vehicle, sucking up the bumps and curbs much nicer... Although it doesn't "hug" the road like the Colorado, and does some pretty big nose dives under breaking. Acceptable trade offs for the smoother ride IMO.

And some low-lights - nothing serious, just irritants.
    - The steering column needs a little more adjustment. I'd like it back about another inch to be perfectly comfortable.
    - The radio presets - they have only the Sirius XM channel number... not the name. why???
    - Safety stickers - gah.. I marked up the driver door panel getting it off. Hopefully I can buff it out when the weather warms up.
    - The keyfob remote start takes too long, and of course shuts off when opening the door. I used to be able to start my truck in the minutes it takes to walk towards it: unlock, shove the key in and drive off. I can't do that now - the start cycle takes too long, then of course it shuts off when getting in. I used to save myself 60 seconds on either end of my commute... no more. ;)
    - The USB plugs in the center console are way in the bottom. Why? To get at them, it's got to be nearly empty.
    - Slightly worse fuel economy. I knew that going in though - and I assume after it's fully broken in, and learned my driving style it'll get a bit better.
    - No rear defogger.

All in all, so far, I'm happy with my decision to go with Toyota for a mid-sized truck. :) Looking forward to retiring behind the wheel of this thing - along way off in the future.

I also traded a 16 Colorado for a Tacoma. I’m only about 30 miles and a day into it, but so far I agree with almost everything.

One more annoyance until I get around to a pop and lock is the tiny little key for the tailgate. I may just carry my valet key or have a plain metal one cut.

I’ve also ordered a 2020 but haven’t got it yet. Going back to the key fob starter. If heated seats are engaged before you shut the vehicle, will they stay on after remote start engages like the Colorado does, or does the button need to be pushed again for activation?
I hope the rear defroster won’t be a big deal either because I’m worried about the same thing.

They'll remain on. If I leave my heated seats on even without the remote start, next time I get in the truck they are on the same setting.
