If your set on getting a better fork, look in the used market otherwise you'll be paying more for a fork than what you paid for the bike. Even then, I'd just ride your bike and only upgrade things you really feel necessary. I'm getting a new bike due to the fact I'd like a new derailer setup plus some other stuff. Upgrading my current bike wouldn't make sense if I did since its so old and already worth less than 1 of the upgrades I want.

Yea Fork i want is $250 and Bike was $350. lol That really is the only upgrade honestly i feel necessary cause the fork on there feels like a pogo stick compared to the one i want. The Rock Shox recon rl. I could still have an upgraded bike for less than what a new stock one cost.

Too stiff and not enough absorption. Rebound sucks and no adjust ability. The Rockshox fork has all that and is from my research the best bang for your buck out there right now. I tested one out at the bike shop the other day and absolutly love it. But dont get me wrong that isnt going to be bought right now lol.

Red Mountain had all of that. Roots rocks loose rock felt not too good going over all that. I feel it was acually very simmilar to how Oak mountain will be. Trails felt like Mountain Bike trails. Super tight

I'd say keep riding that bike man, no upgrades like fork.

If after 1 or 2 rides you're already thinking that's an issue...then idk I kinda feel like you're focused on the wrong things lol.

I have a crap suntour fork too, but I'm riding the piss out of this bike.

lol I missed that. I just know out of all my first 10 rides the fork wasn't something I was like "eh that needs to go".
