    Yeah, that is true.

Nothing upsets a nattering nabob of negativism more than someone who is not miserable...lol

Looks like you made a new friend though. Appears he likes your shoes.

    Cheers

Was this accidentally posted in the "too real for your tiny fragile ego"? This is a real problem and if you don't have it anything of substance than move on to troll another thread.

You have a 2016. The general rule is don't buy the first year of something, ESPECIALLY if it hasn't been redesigned for over ten years. From what I can tell Toyota has remedied the problem in later models while at the same time trying to downplay its existence. Of course, reading about stuff like this definitely went into my decision to get one with a manual..

IDK. A tacoma for me was a $33k 2018 truck which included 4x4, 4 doors, that gets 20 mpg since day 1, and seems quick whenever I floor it hard.

Although it is true, life can be challenging for people who lack critical thinking abilities.

    Examples:

    1) Should you pay +$10,000 more for a trim which includes stickers and gimmicky shocks which can easily be replaced with real off road components for a fraction of that? No.

    2) Should you expect to have a smaller pick-up truck which is easy to park, doesn't get 12mpg like that fucking shamu looking tundra...and also tows like a semi truck? No

This made my Taco much better. I use it all the time and the gas mileage is nearly the same if you don't drive like an ass. I will probably still do the OV Tune once I get into total modifications. But....this was good start. You have to put in on EVERY time. it does not stay on. They have the ECU tune update that will help the tranny 04b04 but the tech said they are ONLY allowed to update them in high altitude areas or they get flagged Toyota. So dumb. The OV Tune guy will be happy and in business for a while. lol

I really dont have any complaints about my transmission shifts. Occasionally i will use the ECT button which keeps things more steady and predictable.

90% of my driving is mountains/ hills btw

Yea man I'm so mad that my truck downshifts when going 80 mph, uphill on 33s and lifted. Ridiculous.
