I have weekdays and weekends off now
I'm getting some skids and sliders soon, what are you going to paint yours with?

I'm planning to install my skids today after work. I'll do my sliders too if I have time. They're bolt-on, but require some drilling on the bottom of the frame (PITA). I may weld the bottom instead. I painted my sliders with Rust-OLeum High Performance Enamel. Skids came powder coated.

ya, I'm opting out of bringing my trailer. so I need to move my tent back on to the truck. I really need to make a hoist.

My trailer isn't really built for offroad. Only to bring more luxuries and unnecessary crap.

Sort of...it does't bend to well that way all that well.

I did just have the idea to get those magnetic turn signals for towing from Harbor Freight and plug them into the trailer plug.

Or I could take my old stock turn signals and zip tie them to the bumper. They're pretty broken though.

Im planning on heading down to Madera and meeting up! I’ll be heading out from Livermore and might have one more truck behind me. 10:30 sounds like a good time and stopping at Cressmans like last year for one last fill up for me. Anyone else interested? (If I get to camp early I might go fishing and try to catch some lunch)

I did prime them first, but I think I should've spent a little more time prepping the surface. You'll see why.

Mario, is there enough space for me to put up a ground tent? Never been to this spot. So, not sure how it is. Otherwise, I will be sleeping in the bed.

I'll be up there Saturday morning and would like to run Brewer, Coyote or Swamp lakes or some combination of them. Did Bald Mountain a couple weekends ago and don't really care to do the whole thing again. The trailheads are all pretty close together so easy to pop from one to another as daylight allows.

If you guys would like to join me I can roll to your campsite first thing or just meet at the trail head at a specific time (which I'm less a fan of as the late guy)

Oh yeah! As Richi stated, plenty of room! Just be sure to pack warm and bring plenty of whiskey. Although, you never show up empty handed so I wasn't really worried about that.:drunk:

It kind of is. Although it is a toad, and with all the hill climbs getting there I'd probably have to pack a ton of extra fuel too.
