    Does anyone know if there are double din dash kits for our trucks that don't sink in like the one Crutchfield sent me?

    This may only work for the Tacoma with the premium radio, it has a slightly larger cutout

    I mean that's a good idea but my trim overlaps the dash kit so even if I wanted to push it up it would be hitting the inside of the trim if that makes sense.

    Yeah, I get it. I've probably installed dozens of head units in my life and these dash kits almost always lack a great fit and finish. I ordered 3 for my Tacoma, as I've seen others do on this forum as well, and I found the Metra kit to be the nicest if you want to try that one. Part # for a third gen is

    Just ordered it, this one looks a lot better, hopefully it will fit and look better, if not I am leaning on trying a different radio that might fit better.
