Yea i made the mistake of testing out a way better fork and felt the night and day difference. It will defiantly be something i want to invest in when i get good at like jumping over stuff and big obstacles.

 

you're on a faster track than me lol. I'm hoping to get both wheels off the ground riding soon. I've also made sure to avoid riding anything nice just so I don't necessarily know I'm missing out.

 

To be fair, I rode a bike similar to what you have all through my teenage years and jumped it off stuff you'd think I had no business jumping from and rode it up on Monte Sano quite a bit with my dad. It was a $400 Trek from way back when and it never let me down until I literally broke my rear axle in half. Then I replaced it and kept riding until I got my current bike. Just ride it and enjoy it. Until you can successfully bunny hop and control front and rear wheel placement, just practice your handling skills with what you've got. It gets harder to progress with stuff like that when you move on to more plush suspension like what you're talking about.

 

Then you have me, bottoming out a full suspension bike and bending the linkage for the rear shock. Lmao. Maybe I'm the next husky uncle.

I've lost my feet so many times on my pedals, so I wanted those....and shoes.

My tires had bald spots on them so I did those.

My gloves from weight lifting are tearing up so I'm replacing those and I feel like grips would help that lol

that's about all I've thought. other than "I need to do that better" lol

 

Only reason I want a new bike is so I can get to the buffet faster.

 

Yea like ive said im not upgrading right now. 1 i just got the bike. 2 i dont have the money nor would i want to spend a ton on my mountain bike right now. 3 yes i am going to upgrade the fork when the time comes because i feel it would help me enjoy riding more. Maybe not for you guys but for me it would. My personal preference.

I mean heck ill just go and buy a santa cruz and call it a day.

 

I am enjoying the heck out of the bike though!

 

I definitely think my whole 8 year old 26” bike needs to go. I’m still full send with it though

Trussville looks a lot like Monte Sano. They're comparable for sure.

he might have an older gopro or action camera too, before the stabilization technology. my gopro hero 7 has an inner gimbal stabilization tech crap that really helps it out, but also takes away from the terrain

 

Guess I need to start using my GoPro again. I'm old school though, got my Hero 3. Lol.

Most likely. Lol. Chest mounted its not too bad even with the old camera. Its nothing compared to the 7 though. That camera is full of black magic.

Aftermarket batteries are fairly inexpensive. But you have additional batteries, right?

 

I have a total of 4 batteries, usually bring 3 on a bike ride.
