I just took delivery of a 2020 TRD OR. It only has 300 miles on the "clock". I had a 6 x 12 tandem axle trailer ordered to tow my Kubota Sidekick and they just called and said the trailer is ready. The factory is about 50 miles from my home. Question: Do I need to have a few more miles on the Taco before I tow? I can borrow another truck to pick it up but would rather use my own.

Another (stupid) question: How do you upload pictures into TW?

Empty trailer no problem use your truck. You need to have so many posts first to do pictures.

Actually, 1k for 3rd Gens. But an empty trailer for 50mi? Not even a question in my mind.

    My bad, 500 it is:

empty trailer you are fine, hardly much extra load. Give it at least 1000 miles before loaded towing to allow rear gears to seat in, and then change the rear gear oil around 5k miles (regardless of if you have towed loaded or empty). Your pinion bearings will thank me.

Regardless... tow in S4. Don't use 5 or 6. Those are overdrive.

Sounds like a fine opportunity to go for a nice 200 mile drive before picking up the trailer.

Just to the right of post reply you will see upload file. Click that then browse and attach as either a file or full image.

I love driving my truck so that excuse works great for me :D:D:D

Thanks for the replies/information. BTW, I have 348 messages to date. Isn't that enough to do pictures?
