Let’s just say he’s the biggest pain in the ass while also being literally my best friend - as a former dog person, I couldn’t imagine a day without Jaxson.

He’s 28.5lbs as of a few days ago at the vet - almost 2 years old.

Lol, yeah, I brought a few women home before finding my fiancé this past year and realized I should have probably let them know ahead of time. “OMG you have a cheetah for a pet...” they were scared to death of him - so it didn’t last long.

I mean, he’s a little prick sometimes and will chase my girl around the house if she’s wrapped up in a blanket (he’s a blanket whore) but other than that, he’s well behaved as long as there’s no kids around - he doesn’t do well with kids unless he’s on a walk outside with me.

Meowing in defiance of why dad would possibly want to cover the entry way carpet he insists on using as a scratch pad aka, pull it all the way back so dad can’t open the door when he gets home.

The only thing he’s ever (tried) to destroy and I need to kick the habit pronto. I’ve been working a lot of late nights (rare) and it’s throwing his attitude off a bit. He likes my fiancé, but they only truly bond to ONE human.

 

Negative ghost rider. I’m 28, she’s 35 and neither of us want kids. I grew up in a pretty poor family with 3 siblings - parents shouldn’t have even had 1 kid let alone 4, really impacted my view on having kids. Nothing against it, very happy for those that have them willingly, just isn’t for me after seeing my parents struggle and eventually divorce over it when I was a teen.

Have fought tooth and nail for my financial well being in life - and I’m just not ready to allocate any of it for children.

Kids aren't for everybody. I've got two and I'm good with that.
