    I just pushed/pulled on mine. The tabs aren't very big or strong.

    I think I just tried to push them from inside the dash but wasn't having any luck. Then I just started tugging on the lighter housing and it gave way.

    I took my stereo out and reached my arm down through the dash. You can access all those switches that way without having to take the dash apart.

    Maybe a trim removal tool? Put it under the end of the lighter and try to pry it?

    Figured it out guys , pryed it out slowly and luckily didn’t damage anything... I’ll post my project tomorrow

    Mmmmm, pull on the little door thats on it? I can't remember exactly how I did mine. Push from behind the dash and pull on the door at the same time? Or focus on the silver part? That comes out on its own too. Then you can just pop the trim out.
