Crooked body?

    Hi guys,

    Looking for some advice as to if the circled part (radiator support mount bushing?) could be making the body of my DCLB crooked which is causing the front driver's side of the truck lean 1&1/4" lower than the passenger side.

    The lean isn't related to the suspension and far more excessive than normal taco lean. I've also tried putting in a 1/4" spacer on front driver's side and it only lifted the truck 1/8", super odd.

    I was in a mild fender bender last winter when I hit a snowbank on the passenger side but had a bunch of work done after & I can't see any damage other than this.

    If anyone has thoughts on if this could be the issue or if I should be looking for something else, please chime in!

    That there is your radiator support bushing. Crap design from toyota. Mine had let go and I was chasing a front end clunk forever.
    Replaced them with these after some research on this site:
    Energy part numbers:
    $34 9.4101G UNIVERSAL MOUNT
    9.4101G (Radiator support cab mount bushings)

    Thanks! Would the shot driver's side bushing cause my truck to be leaning this hard? Yes I know my roof is leaning too, ground is level though!

    Measure between the frame and the driveway and compare sides.

    I have two shops tell me the frame was off a little but within specs, if anyone wants to confirm here's measurements

    I'm hoping so but I don't think this will actually lift the body. Not sure what else to look for though :annoyed:.

    The frame can be perfectly straight, but if the suspensions screwed, the truck is going to be lower on 1 side than the other. That's why you measure from the frame to the ground. If the left frame rail is 1" lower than the right, body mount bushings aren't going to fix the problem.

    You know those bushings are shot, so replace them and work from there. I got mine off eBay for $25 shipped and it took me 10 min to install them. These bushings DO affect the level of your truck in the front end. They hold up your radiator support, which holds up your fenders in the front, which are attached to your bumper...
