I actually mainly did the ceiling for that reason. It was over 100° in the shop this summer. That’s why I was planing to eventually insulate the outside and re-sheet. Doesn’t do to bad with a window AC unit. Everything runs off a generator for now.

Sound like you freeze in the winter and fry in the summer. Do you have big mosquitos too?

Not too bad. Tons of wasps this year though. It’s almost pointless to try and do anything out there in full winter. “Might” be do able when I run power next summer but right now any decent heat draws too many amps.

Kind of the same thing @floodedkiwi and I deal with for wasp. High humidity and mosquitos at night. I have a couple of window units for A/C, that I rarely use, and electric heat to put in the garage. I can handle the heat a lot better than the cold. It just sucks when your sweat is dripping all over your work. Usually open a couple of windows and use a big fan to draw air out of the building for cross ventilation.

Look at baileysonline.com they have all chainsaw related stuff. Bought a ripping chain from them a few years ago for the stihl.

How critical is the drive link? The chain on the saw is 63. Baileys has 66 & 68.

    Serious question......

Does your shop make your wife / significant other BRAAAP in your shop?

Every time I ask Rhonda (her real name) to come check progress on “her”projects, within 30 seconds, she lets one loose, then laughs like a goose.

I mainly work with Cedar, Oak, Pine and Walnut....

So, I’ve locked the door, turned up the music and either meet her in the adjoining garage or text her a pic of progress.

I feel better now, thanks for letting me vent (pun intended).

    Back to work.....:sawzall:
