I lived across 49 on Albany back in 2000-2005 and absolutely loved that area. Great MTB rides around Lake Fayetteville, but always kayaked at Weddington. The area has grown significantly since I was there, and is way busier, but I enjoyed Fayetteville and that specific part of town. Always a better atmosphere though when the Razorbacks are winning games...

My sister used to live on Branchwood and I've got a friend that lives on Cherokee Cove. Both are nice areas just north of Lake Fayetteville.

Awesome. Now you just need a couple cars and some motorcycles to fill that shop with!

Sweet :bananadance::jellydance: nice big shop with bathroom, heat, AC and a beer fridge (soon to be added). Congrats, when's the next Mod day?

Thanks. I've got my WRX and Tacoma, so that's plenty for now. I like certain styles of motorcycles, but I doubt I'll ever own one. I would go way too fast everywhere and be a smear on the highway somewhere. I speed enough already with my current vehicles.

    Thanks.
Thanks. The beer fridge would be wasted on me, since I'm not a beer drinker. Once I'm settled in, I'd be up for a mod day if people are willing to make the drive. I'm around 2hr from LR and 4+ from NWA depending on where you're at.

Took my tent out on a test run at a friend's farm in Gentry this past weekend. Did pretty good. Had a slight rain overnight, no leaks, lots of condensation on the tent walls. Other than that it was a lot more comfortable than I anticipated. Can't wait for my upcoming trip to the Smokies.73381381_10157860576036579_1403563632654024704_o.jpg

Open those windows up to minimize condensation. The more airflow you have through the tent the better!

Yup...unzip the windows a little bit and throw on an extra blanket... it only took 1 time to learn. Actually had ice crystals 1st time out with @TerraNerva

I had the front and side open. Gonna try opening the top windows as well on my trip. It got super foggy too so I’m sure that didn’t help. Do ya’ll use sleeping bags or just regular bedding?

Both, depending on conditions. Dogs are always a good choice.

All four will make a big difference. There’s just not enough airflow otherwise. It’ll obviously be much colder in the tent though. I use a 20 degree sleeping bag most of the time. Also, be aware that you’ll likely have condensation under the mattress as well which can be hard to dry out.

If i had ended up moving back to NWA it would have been very hard for me to resist getting a proper motorcycle. Living in Dallas though, there is too much traffic to make me want to ride. I see enough car accidents as it is. Fayetteville seemed much more motorcycle friendly when I was there.
