It's less Tacoma and more mod
Maybe back em off to 3/4 and start there. My Icons had the 13" 650# coils so I always had a bit more showing than most

I ordered a winch not too long ago. Wired it up, got ready to mount and test and realized the instructions said the battery needs to have 650 CCA, my battery is 530. I’ve heard rumors that another Northstar battery group buy coming up next month that should take care of that. Not sure what battery you have but throwing that out there.

Sad day today, I found a rust hole in the rear wheel well on the frame where the boxed portion ends. Sad because the truck only has 83k on it and runs and drives perfectly. I'm thinking about selling but what's a realistic price to ask?

Very nice! And I like those tires - I have a lot more miles to wear on mine before I put on some ATs..... Maybe if I can wait that long!

It's about a quarter sized hole. Its definitely repairable and the safe-T cap solution comes to mind but I just dont want to deal with it.

thanks. These are 16x8 (nicer offset) and 2.5 pounds lighter than stock. So it allows me to run LT tires at 245 75 16 for essentially the same weight as a stock alloy wheel and passenger tires.

I just purchased this not too long ago, and I'm planning on adding that 105 amp alternator to my truck as well, after I get some extra wires for it.

ithise wheels have a 30 mm offset and the 1st gen stock has 15 mm. So the wheels of the 3rd gen will be more in under the truck by 15mm. But they will fit.

My Sunday afternoon this past weekend.

A few new parts for my 95 3.4 with 255,000 miles. All Amazon: UBJs are Toyota parts @ $56.00 each. I had some Chinese kids make me some Gabriel struts for $64.00 each. The TA fluid was $16.28 and the gasket was $11.20.

Got lucky and they accidentally sent me two gaskets. Since there are three 1st gen autos in my family, that extra will go to a good home.

My front coils were toast. Shocks were good. I have a hand injury right now and didn't want to fool with compressing them, so I will keep those old struts and remove the shocks later.

In and out of the trucks, we ultimately covered some 27 miles in just under two hours. All on reasonably graded gravel roads, we eventually saw Eagles Nest and Mt. Powell in the distance before we decided at about 6:00pm that we'd found a reasonable camp site and were going to call it a day, Brett - ever looking for the poser shot as evidenced by the #overlanding stickers on his #GFC :p - flexing his way the last few feet into camp.
