Hey man, i’m cheap too. Bought a $100 iPhone almost 5 years ago and have absolutely no desire to upgrade any time soon. The new one are not worth what they charge for them

 

Most I pay for a phone is $200 and I make sure I get 2-3 years out of it.

 

I have a company phone also. Haven't had to pay a phone bill in over 8 years. It's glorious. I do of course still have to pay the bill for my wife and daughter's phones though.

 

I’ll be there but mainly because I have things to sell* lmao

Remember the beeper day’s when there were still payphones on every corner? I was doing an excavation job at the very end of Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown in 2000. 60 ft deep, 4:1 ramp. I’m in the bottom, beeper goes off, climb all the way up to the pay phone, “yeah what’s up? Oh just wanted to know how it’s going. Going good bye.” Walk all the way back down, beeper goes off again. Climb all the way back up to the pay phone. “Yeah what do you want now? Oh just want to know what you may need tomorrow?” “Couldn’t you have asked me that 5 minutes ago? Wait a minute, are you here watching me and when I get back into the bottom you’re beeping me just to watch me climb up and down?” “Oh no no that’s not it at all “! Beeper is still in the bottom of the Potomac River within 90 mile an hr tossing distance from my location!
