    It might be best to pay a little extra and have a stereo shop set you up and tune the EQ etc. The only issue I have now is sometimes it doesn't auto connect to the Wi-Fi hotspot. It's mostly my phone's fault though. Unfortunately I can't root the S10 version that I have or else I'd fix it with Tasker app.

    I'm thinking this is even better than Android auto because you can do anything with this as you would a tablet.

    Finally got the camera working. Being completely unqualified to install a stereo like I am, I didn't hook up the cable for the camera and then switched the two yellow RCA cables. Now the only problems that I need to fix is the mounting bracket and the back-up lines are way off to the left from where the truck actually going. Used it for the first time on my way into work today and I must say that it's a great system, the screen is so much brighter and clearer, I think it sounds better and CarPlay is fantastic. It was definitely worth the hassle.

    Is this an aftermarket back-up camera? I'm asking because the lines are embedded in the OEM camera. Now, the headunit may be superimposing its own set. If that's the case then you can probably turn them off in the settings. If it's an aftermarket camera, nevermind.

    It's an OEM camera, I'll have to look into possibly turning them off.

    I could be completely wrong. I would think you could see both sets of lines. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting to mine this weekend, so the filming will convince.

    My tramlines appeared with my OEM rear camera just as they did when I had the OEM HU. There are settings to add additional one (their angle is also adjustable) plus some curve with steering wheel inputs. However, the OEM lines are still there (don't know how to turn them off) so it's a bit of a mess and I ended up turning the Dasaita lines off.

    The loud volume has been resolved with an amplifier gain setting. I have also browsed every setting and have everything dialed (wallpaper, color, app arrangement, etc.). Additionally, the front camera has been order and will be installed soon.

    Where did you find the amplifier gain setting?

    My track forwards and backwards are the opposite of what they should be. Seems like I should be able to fix this in steering wheel buttons in settings, but this screen is blank. I'm not really sure what I could be doing wrong.

    Here's what I did:
    Settings --> Car --> Factory Settings --> 126 --> other (tab) --> Amp Volume = -15db

    I haven't done anything with the SWC buttons, but had a similar challenge with the panel buttons. This might help.

    If you have a canbus you need to change your profile to Toyota.

    Settings --> Car --> Factory Settings --> 126 - Canbus, then option 8

    Buttons are figured out (thank you for the replies and help). Another question, has anyone been able to get dashboard view? I have iOS 13 on my iPhone, and i believe you should be able to just swipe right in icon view to switch to dashboard view, but I've got nothing.

    Edit - figured it out.

    Did you make an offer on the radio or just paid full price?

    I offered $375 for the receiver, $30 for the upgraded chip and $30 for the canbus and they accepted the offer.

    And just to verify with all of that you are able to do wireless CarPlay without the extra dongle?

    I believe it’s only wired CarPlay, but I haven’t tried wireless. For me, I don’t mind plugging my phone in when I get in my truck.
