Hi, Rob. There's no way I could afford a new Ranger. However, a fishing buddy of mine bought a new 2018 521Z and paid cash, which he saved up for over 5 years. But he owns a major grocery store.

Here's my 06 Lowe FS175 with my old 2nd gen. I have had a Tundra and now a 3rd Gen Tacoma but still have this boat. I've caught a ton of fish with this boat and a lot of good times and counting. I rigged it out for freshwater trolling / fishing. I have fished anything from small private lakes in it, Rivers, larger local lakes, the WI. Winnebago chain and Lake Michigan. It has been a great first boat and will continue to be.

Thanks. It’s my 2nd season with it and I really like it so far. I had it in some pretty nasty stuff this past spring and the boat handled it well. Hoping to get out another time or two before I put it away for winter

I’m with ya! Plenty of great fishing to be had in October and Nov.

What part of Wi are you in? I’m in the west end of Waukesha Co.

I’m in Brodhead, about 30 miles south of Madison. Takes me 3 hrs to get to GB and 2 hrs to Bago. My taco gets a workout from Apr-Nov!

Looks like planer boards for brownies?I used to fish there 25 years ago for lakers and rainbows.Launch from South Shore or Grant Park, that was before Bender Park, the one they took forever to complete.Oak Creek power plant was an awesome spot.Back when one could keep more than 5 perch.

Yup! The pic in Milwaukee was us running boards for Kings and Cohos. We launched out of a small launch in downtown Milwaukee that day but I know of the three you mentioned. I was born and raised in Milwaukee and surrounding. Been fishing these areas since I was a kid. The Oak Creek power plant area still holds a lot of fish at times. The other pic was on Lake Winneconne which is part of the Winnebago system and we were going for Walleye and Pike. That's my dad reeling one in.

It seemed like every-time I went to fish the Winnie chain,I had to wait for storms to pass.Happened many times on Poygan.Sat at the landing in Tustin for over 3 hours once.

One guy that I fished with that lives down there had some windows busted out at the landing on KK river, when fishing the harbor.

I always want to go back and hit the cohos in the spring at Racine, but never make it.Shit going on or crap weather.

My divorce gift to myself was to finally get the whaler I've been wanting for eons. Bought it already winterized, so I'll wait until spring to finally use it in the NH coast/estuary. Can't wait.

Grew up boating on the great lakes and want to get back into it potentially. Pondering a boat for the family for lake boating. some fishing, mostly cruising and exploring and just getting out on the water. If it were up to me, I would go for a center console. I need to have a more family friendly boat, with more comfortable seating, etc. I like outboards. Looking at dual console open bows. Something with a bigger hull as compared to a typical 18 foot bowrider. (nothing wrong with this, i just want "more") looking in the 18-22 foot range. Likely will keep this in a storage rack at a marina, or possibly in water slip, TBD. (no place currently at the hacienda to store it) Peanut gallery please chime in. Downfalls of an older fiberglass boat? Engine concerns? 2 stroke vs. 4 stroke?

Not sure if these links will work, budget 10-15K (for now)

Links didn't work for me. I have a 2003 Wellcraft for sale. 26' bowrider with a Stern drive. I've run it all over the lake Erie islands region. Even took a trip up to Amherstburg, ON from Sandusky. It handles the open waters of lake Erie very well. It has a deep vee and excellent freeboard.

I prefer Stern drives to o/b in freshwater. I like the clean transom when the kids are climbing around the back and jumping off the sun pad. Oh yeah, you can have a large sun pad on the back with O/B.

I have a full canvas enclosure, with eisenglass windshield, side curtains, and back curtain. So you can run in just about any weather.

I'm looking to get $18k. But I could come down some.

I don't have it listed anywhere right now. It's all covered up for winter storage. I'm planning on listing it in the Spring.
