    Just a heads up guys and gals,

    I will be taking orders tomorrow for HID headlights and fog lights, LED off road lights (Rigid Industries), and other random lights if anybody is thinking about getting anything like that in the near future. So bring some cash!! Lol

    I did the headlights and fog lights in Andrews truck and mine will also have lights so you guys will be able to see a few examples.

    So i think all of the CB guys need to decide what channel we want to try and use on the trip, pending any interference up on the mountain. We should steer clear of 9 and 19 (emergency and truckers) and maybe go with 30something? I'd like to get to the parking lot and dial right in so we can all radio check pretty quick.

    I'll say let's all be on ch30 when we arrive and coordinate. Also, it might be good to have CB guys in the back of each group to keep an eye out in case we need to radio if someone goes down.

    If anyone still needs to tune their antenna, I'll have my meter with me and would be glad to help. Make sure you know how to shorten/lengthen your own antenna when you arrive and have the tools to cut and/or adjust the length. Should only take a couple minutes per antenna.

    Got home about an hour ago from the pre-run & several stops in Prescott. Trail is clean and clear.

    We had good luck with Channel 24. It was the clearest oddly enough.

    Here are a FEW random photos I took on the pre-run;

    Couple things on the pre run.
    It took 5 1/2 hrs. We did make a few stops to navigate and urinate ( me mostly ).
    Little more challanging than I expected.
    Bring stuff to eat and plenty of water to drink it is cooler but in the sun at higher altitudes you will dehydrate quickly.

    We pass through a couple towns and it was very dusty so PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE of the amount of speed and dust we kick up going through.

    Lot's of one lane passes and bridges so watch out for oncomming traffic bikes and quads will be out as well.

    Preskitt is holding a large Vette thing so it will be busy down around the town square if you travel in there looking for food or things on Wiskey row.

    We need to make sure we leave the jump off location at 10:00 sharp so if you need to buy or sell shirts, drinks, food or gas get it early.
    I used apx. 1/2 a tank for the trip so top off.

    See you all there.

    there is a lot of dirt and dust in some areas. in some spots, it may be hard to see the person in front of you. please don't feel like you need to complete this trip in 3 hours. for those who love to speed on trails, be considerate of others. it might even be a good idea to have your lights on to let others see you better. anything would help. it was hard to see with a dirty window and the sun on the windshield, so don't follow too close to the truck in front of you
