Got me a proximity sensor in the mail today. Only a few more parts to gather for the crush-o-matic 3000.
Thats the extended sensing model. Max distance for the object to be from it is a mere 5mm haha. Usually its its around 2mm.

so based upon my recent MING search throughout the 1st gen section it is not a very discussed about topic having that treatment done

actually 'not very' is incorrect, it looks to be non existent

What Is Ming?
Ming is neither a wax nor a coating. In fact, MING is more a process than a finish. The MING process enhances a vehicle’s painted finish by smoothing out its pits and valleys (sometimes called “pores”) where dirt, grime and pollutants collect. In a conventional treatment, waxes or polishes are rubbed or buffed into these pores to cover the paint. The shine comes from the ingredients of the wax or coating. With MING, the shine you see is the reflection of the actual paint surface, not wax or another coating.

Along with smoothing out the pits and valleys , the MING process toughens and hardens the paint making it resistant to the detrimental effects of the environment. Just realized we both have gnarly crazy attack watch dogs..... Hahaha
Mine is 19 and still healthy, but eyes and ears not working too hot but he's freaking awesome, I'm sure just like yours in this pic he couldn kinda see these pibbles but definitely couldn't hear them whining. He smelled em though, that's fo sho
