Ours was an A1C married to her "tech school sweetheart," husband went on a 6-month deployment with the tanker task force (and fell in love with his new "soul mate") and she fell apart. It was a sad-ass story, and she was afraid to ask for help because her parents convinced her that she'd lose her clearance and get kicked out for needing mental health care. Things were BAD, and you described the house situation to a T. She was messed up in the head as well - depressed and silent. Put on a good show at work and wallowed in it at home. His unit took responsibility for her husband and brought him back, they divorced, she got better child care, and a bunch of the NCOs went and helped clean up the house. She had to live in billeting for a few weeks as we and CE fixed the house back up, and it never got that bad again.

    You know, typical military-to-military "romance."

    Flying money[IMG]

Four American Airlines flight attendants were arrested at Miami International Airport for money laundering during a routine customs check on Monday, Oct. 21, according to a police report from Miami-Dade police.

Four American Airlines flight attendants were arrested at the Miami International Airport and charged with money laundering after bringing large amounts of cash into the country, police said.
The airline says it's working with law enforcement on their investigation.
The flight attendants were going through a routine customs check Monday during the time of their arrest, according to a Miami-Dade police report.
One Customs and Border Patrol Agent was checking Carlos Alberto Munoz-Moyano, who had arrived on an incoming flight from Chile. The agent asked him how much money he was carrying, and Munoz-Moyano said he had $100, the police report said.
He later changed his statement and said he had $9,000, according to the police report.
The agent alerted other agents, who found other attendants from the same fight carrying large amounts of money, the report said; none had a license to transport the cash.
The police report has redacted what the flight attendants admitted to when they were interviewed by a Homeland Security Agent.
Agents found $7,300on flight attendant Miaria Delpilar Roman-Strick and $6,371 on Maria Isabel Wilson-Ossandon, the report said.
Police didn't allege whether the fourth flight attendant charged, Maria Beatriz Pasten-Cuzmar, had any money on her, and it's unclear what role they believed she played.
The four defendants were charged with money laundering by evading reporting requirements and being unauthorized money transmitters.
CNN is reaching out to attorneys for the defendants for comment.
It is not clear whether or how much money the other defendants reported bringing into the US. The total amount of money seized was $22,671.

Dumbasses, all they had to do was declare it. You can legally carry up to $9,999, you just have to put it on your paperwork. Just say its gambling winnings.

They sound like sacrificial lambs to me. Get the authorities focused on these four, they don't notice the passenger walking through with a million in his luggage.

Or when the security forces SrA on a bicycle made a miracle 75 yard one-hand shot with his M9 through a partially open third-floor door to kill an armed gunman shooting up the mental health clinic. I PCSed in right after that, and saw the area where it happened (upstairs from the flight clinic in the old hospital dorm). It was a "hey, come check this out" part of my in-processing, along with "and this is the field in which we plant our BUFFs, watch out for the deer."

Lots of deer running around on that base, knowing we can't shoot them. Bastards.

...^^^... We had a guy in boot camp that claimed he had never brushed his teeth  ... I still remember the city and state that he was from too (but won't mention it here).

His teeth were kinda slimy green in color ... so they called him "Green Teeth" or "Moss Mouth" ... :puke:

They don't look like the sharpest tools in the shed. On another note, I remember when attendants were a lot better lookin. These winners look like a typical family drug bust in Oregon.
