I'm running these tires with TRD 4Runner wheels. Really the only thing out there that fit my needs as far as offset and width. I have no UCA or frame rub but did need to do a cmc and aggressively smash my pinch welds as well as cut a little bit of fender flare to fit them. Currently not rubbing off road with about 3" lift and ICON tube UCAs.

@Lord Humongous was it also Walmart where you found them on sale for $168?

These just might be my next set of tires...

Yes it was. Not many local dealers yet. Honestly my favorite set of offroad tires so I think you'll be happy. Really smooth.

Im just wondering what size rims/wheels i need to make them work. I was actually planning on putting them on a lifted 96' f150 and want pizza cutter 35". The ford has 5 x 5 lugs. Any suggestions on wheel selection?

Well they will fit on 17" wheels. I prefer my wheels at least a couple inches narrower to prevent trail damage and "poor mans beadlock". No idea as far as offset, backspace and lug pattern for Ford fitment.

17x7, they are good fit for this tire. 17x8 would work well too.

I was in the market for new AT tires when I came across this thread.

I was on the fence between the Yoko Geolanders AT in 315/70/17 and these Kendas RTs. (I know, apples to oranges) After conferring with @Lord Humongous, his 1st hand experiences with my tire choices pushed me over to the Kendas....and his suggestion to wait for the sale price saved me another $80!

I received my Kendas from Walmart in 3 days. Got them mounted today. Wheel/tire balanced fine. These 35x10.5x17 Kendas were taller (35" vs 34ish") but narrower (10.5" vs 12.5") compared to the 315/70/17 Kumhos that they replaced.

First impression: Love the rugged look of the RT tire over the AT. And LOVE the skinnier tire over the 315/70/17 in appearance because there's less tire sticking out of the fender

@findingthingsout Not enough of a tire expert to answer....but maybe a closeup photo may help?

I think the sips are cupped on the sides. My screwdriver test says they're full depth.

Looks like they would quickly become an MT. That was one reason that I decided on the Falken Wildpeak AT3/W over the Cooper ST MAXX.

They are a hybrid terrain if that's what your asking? Most ATs will be quieter. Most MTs louder.

What was a downright steal at $168/ea at Walmart for these....

.....its friggin larceny because Walmart has the 35x10.5x17 size on sale for $159/ea right now!!!!

Any ideas how much those weigh? Amazon says item weight 35 lbs, which is impossible, and shipping weight 67 lbs. That sounds more like it, but not sure it's accurate.
