I would love a coach... but my cheap ass probably may never get one lol.

I have a lot of potential to be a great athlete, I just don’t push myself. Someone screaming at me may help.

I love food, but I’d rather look and feel the way I do (and continue to look and feel better) than eat like shit all the time. That’s why you have to first, eat foods you like while you’re managing (Hence my gummy bears and pop tart everyday), and second treat yourself, often. Like last week when I went to the fair and ate all the things, and also last week we went out to dinner for my wife’s birthday and I threw down some amazing fries that were cooked in steak fat . But you have to be smart about it. Plan ahead and leave room in your macros and don’t just eat to eat. Saturday we went to a house warming party in the middle of the day and they had pizza and all these finger foods. I walked in with a small container of grilled chicken and that’s all I ate while we were there. Everyone made fun of me for it but they are also the first people to ask “how can I get abs” when they see my IG posts :der:

Just sucks cause you miss food but you also know how hard you worked to lose the weight and how easy it is to gain it.

Thanks though y’all. Tomorrow is a new day. These past couple weeks have been hard but I think I’m also working myself to death too so it’s draining everything including will power lol. Y’all are cool when y’all aren’t being dicks

Resisted donuts that got dropped off at work today. Enjoyed my two venison steaks and sweet potato lunches instead.

I think chocolate is the gateway drug right now. I have one piece. Then two. Then it just snowballs.

That is what off season is for. 8+ months a year I go back to the foods I couldn't eat in excess during my "cut". I am trying to gain 50# these next 8 months. Secret below how to achieve....

    Just eat until you're full

    Be well :)

Jk but srs, I am bloated all day - miserably full but I know I am doing it for a purpose. It's going to push me to a new limit, and it's what I want to do. I get alot more variety now - like you can see my new breakfast is now oatmeal, pumpkin, peanutbutter and whip cream mix.... Healthy foods and good for you, but a little to top it all off (whip cream).

During prep I'd never do this. It's just plain oatmeal and blueberries.

Also, along the lines of all this, think lifestyle instead of diet. Include some fun stuff in your diet so you don't have to cheat (by exceeding your macros/calories), etc.

It is more work to eat like I do, but I'm so used to it I just can't imagine doing it any differently.

So if I just lift heavy while eating junk I can claim I’m bulking and it’ll all be legit huh?! Say no more. I’ll go get a triple meat triple cheese burger right now and chug a chocolate milkshake and a large fry with it.

Uhhh something like that yea.... lol (maybe a single cheese burger and skip the fries/milkshake).

That's my point - for me... not necessarily anyone else. However the off season has more leniency... however if you can't control those urges and shed the weight when it comes time - then this is bad for you.

I know for a fact at any time within 10 weeks from now I can be shredded down to sub 10%. (That's me though)

Being able to eat like some of those jacked dudes do would be awesome. Like 8 waffles

    15 eggs

    2lbs of chicken

    5 potatoes

    And a steak for dinner

it’s like goals as fuck lol

A moderately adhered to diet tailored to you will allow you to stay fairly lean year round. Here's the crux of it, you don't get fat overnight and you don't get ripped overnight. Find something you can stick to full time even if it means dropping say 5 pounds a month. So you want to drop 30 that puts you on a 6 month plan to achieve your goal. Feeling frisky and want to really test the waters drive the diet into full deficit and crank the cardio to level 10 seven days a week and lose 10 pounds a week attaining your goal in 3 weeks. I don't condone the latter but it serves its purpose then you can come back to a more healthy plan. When I'm on hard prepping for a show I set a goal of how many days I'm going before I take a cheat meal. Usually in the 8 day range unless I'm really in the hole then it may only be 5 days. Sometimes I've went up to 12 days as well. Soo set some goals, write em down and stick em somewhere you can see em daily. Have some 18 month goals, 12 month goals, 6 month goals and weekly goals. That way you climb the ladder and results are driving you. Modify those goals from time to time if necessary but set goals. Once you get to the place you are happy work on adjusting your macros to attain homeostasis and your diet becomes your lifestyle rather that a diet. I know quite a few guys that do print work for magazines and they have to stay on point daily.

Why do you think that’s goals? That just seems like a fuck ton of money to be spent on food. I spend enough on food as it is and I don’t really eat excessively, I would hate to have to double or triple the amount of food I would have to buy. I would have to start making cuts in my budget in other ways. Unless you hunt all your own meat, raise your own chickens to have eggs for and chickens to butcher and eat. Seems miserable. Have zero desire to want to eat more than I do.

Some people get pleasure from nourishing themselves and gaining weight to achieve a physique they want to or to be able to lift more weight in the gym. They don't look at food as something necessary to live which they should just eat enough of to survive, they look at it as a tool/hobby to feel a certain way about themselves. People spend money on tons of stupid shit all over the world man. Everyone is different.

Yea I’m one of those weird ones^^^. I don’t drink or smoke or have any bad habits that make me happy except for food lol

but anyways! 178 this morning which is about average. I want to get to 170.

made my eggs with an extra egg and a little extra chicken in my salad. I probably have been killing 200-300 calories extra a day lately with snacks and that ain’t cool or smart. Going to get back on track and try to use the healthy food to get fuller and just say fuck snacks and cheats. I wanna see 170.

Wild game is the most expensive kind of meat. When you add up guns, ammo, bows, all your gear, gas, tags etc. Trust me it adds up.

Its less expensive to order whole organic grassfed steers than it is to hunt for venison LOL.

I love to garden. My gardening each year costs more than going to a local organic farm and buying all my produce lol.

Do it for hobby only, it will not save you money.

This is what they want you to see. What they don't show you is the 13 other people sitting behind the camera who they are sharing the food with. Don't be deceived by these dip shits on IG.

Many people on IG live fake ass lives and they only want to show you what they want you to see. Don't think for a second they are eating that much food. I live this shit everyday, I can put away food but I feel like a POS when I am done. It's ZERO enjoyment.
