What is different about the 3rd gen vs ours suspension wise? Are the leafs the same? Is the body mounted higher?

Id think the only thing you could do is maybe pull out the 'overload' leaf from the bottom of the pack. But that wont gain a ton. Either that or put more weight in the truck :boink:

Cool, so I was at 22.5 and 22.25. So for me, when I get my Fox’s put on I’ll still use my 1/2” top plates and should be back roughly where I’m at right now

Yup. I was always under the perception that the 3rd gens sit 1” or so higher than ours. And, while they may, it’s gotta be the shock base mount location that makes them sit higher.

I read it was the weight of the 3rd Gen’s being heavier. I’ve seen members on this forum put on 3rd Gen suspension(non-Pro) on their 2nd Gen and gained an inch up front

How are you getting that? If I took off my 1/2” top plates, I’d be at 21.5 and 21.25

    I believe it’s the same

    So,
    A) Get a longer coil but be concerned with the shock over-extending more frequently
    B) Spacer that Juan suggests and is slowly becoming appealing to me
    C) Remove the “overload” leaf that Zack suggests, providing I get an okay from Icon
    D) Go with a stock leaf pack and mayyybe an AAL
    E) Travel across the border to get a Ford Ranger Raptor and harass BVita on the Ford forums

I’m lost as to why the foxes sit lower, but the ranger raptor diesel they get in AUS is the shit. I’d buy one right now if ford sold it here.

I’m tellin ya kid......I won’t steer ya wrong bro. The top plate is perfect. It’s not a “spacer” that everyone freaks out about (which do suck) it’ll provide what you need. Oh......don’t get a ranger. I know your just joking but that ain’t funny man

Fuck dude forreal. I’d think it would at the VERY least be the same height. On the bright side, you got some valuable info before pulling the trigger due to my impatient ass lol

I know which one you’re talking about. The one that goes inside, on top of the coils are the dangerous ones. Yours sit on the top hat, yeah?
