I recently installed the Cali Raised hidden light bar brackets and an Amazon light bar, i an shinning the tops of the trees. My question is, is there a designated top and bottom side of the light bars or do i simply need to adjust the angle of the light bar?

Some have a top and bottom from a cooling fin perspective, but never seen one of those cheap ones have a top and bottom from a light output perspective. But if you post the one you have, I’m sure it would be easy to tell.

Is it aimed pretty straight? My guess it’s just the throw from the cheap light bar. If you want something more controlled, you’re gonna be looking for something Of higher quality, perhaps with a spot lens on it.

Combo means spread and spot. Spread goes everywhere, including the tree tops, which is why they should never be run on the street with on coming traffic. That is less than inexpensive, CaliRaised is inexpensive, that is toy product pricing. It likely just produces significant glare with no real distance projection.
