Drove good and the 3.0 V6 engine had no knocks or taps but this truck spent it's life in the chicago burb's. I got there before they opened because I wanted to check the body real good. I poked the lower edges of the panels and the paint just flaked off. looked rusty under the primer and allot of it was bubbling. Frame was rusty but no pitting or holes. Had to pass on this one.

Same. Definitely better than the 90-100 we’ve been having.

Well it's a short bed, so taquito seems fitting to me. Save the grande for the long bed.

Pulled the head unit and reached down from the back. It took some work to get it out, but it came out. There's some tabs that hold it in. I pushed it out enough to grab it with some needle nose pliers, and pulled while I tried to push down on the tabs from the back.

I put some spade terminals on the end of the wires that came with the USB plug so that I could plug it right into the factory harness...no running new wires.

I am kind of like that. On second thought, no I’m not. Two kids, junior in college and a junior in high school, but I still get a new vehicle every 3-4 yrs. The wife about every 5 yrs. I understand what you are talking about b/c I get bored with mine too. I love the Tacoma, but in about another 2 yrs, I’ll get something else. Hopefully a 2021 Corvette. Probably keep the Tacoma too. Never satisfied.

Do you have a multi-battery setup or are you just using as needed?

just using as needed for now - seeing how it goes before I commit to any direction. But maybe a larger battery and solar mounted on the RTT to keep it topped off.

Gotcha. I picked up a Alpicool on an Amazon deal and the stock battery certainly won't handle extended periods without having to run the truck. Haven't made up my mind on dual battery or solar (or both) yet. It is nice having cool drinks and sammiches on road trips though!
