I would think the tonneau cover would cause more drag?

Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
Honestly compared to my 04 V6 my 09 V6 seems to get worse gas mileage and have less power.

Don't know if I ever make the 400 mile club  Never let her get much below 1/2 tank when on the highway. I can get 200 on under half a tank, though. (also get 180 per half tank other times )

I commute 88 miles per day in my 07 double cab 4X4 Sport. It is lifted 1" and I'm still running on OE Dunlaps. I routinely get 425 to 430 miles before the gas dash light comes on and put in 18 to 18.5 gallons at each fillup.

Same here. Just over 16.6 MPG. Best MPG was 18.9 driving 70 MPH in 6th gear...

    well you are lifted...

majority of the time I fill up at 1/2 tank...its those weeks that all my bills stack up where I usually drive the entire tank and get 400+...don't change your driving habits and you'll easily hit the 400 club...:D

if you drove at 65 MPH or under you would gain those 1-2 MPG back... try to keep the RPMS below 2K as much as possible and also don't do any jack rabbit starts when the light turns green...you'll see how much of a difference that makes...

I usually do pretty good on the highway :anonymous: except for I10 from where it meets I20 west to El Paso. I'm gonna do the speed limit even though I know it KILLS my mileage. By then I'm tired and want to get done

I normally get 350 a tank pretty regularly. I rencently cleaned and recharged my Volant intake, run a borla exhaust, have 5100's all the way around on 265/75/16 highway tires and i got 380 today and the light was on and it was closer than i wanted to chance it. i am sure i could have got at least 390 out of it, but why chance it.

Yea, I dont see how anyone is getting over 325. Even when I had my access cab TRD OR (4x4) I was lucky to get 300. I jsut recently got about 325 and that is with my supercharged/exhaust/intake DCSB TRD Sport. 400+ will never happen with me, even if it was a bone stock engine.

    Scanguage.....i'm working on more lol
2010 Double Cab, Long Bed, TRD Sport 4x4.
This truck is crazy when it comes to gas milage. I drive 85% highway to work and back and I usually get around 270-300. What kind of spread is that? If I even think about mashing the gas pedal I am convinced my truck just dumps a gallon out the back.
My best milage was driving 100% highway at around 65mph. I got 330 to that tank and get this, I was towing an 8ft trailer. The thing must have weighed at least 350lbs. I was totally stunned to get this kind of milage to begin with...I could have made 350 without that trailer I am convinced.
I am planning on road tripping this truck just to see what I can get out of it.

I have no mods, auto and I could easily get 400 if I wish. Right now I'm at 360 and the light hasn't came on. I went over 400 once before earlier this year.

The 18.9 MPG that I got was a 339 mile highway run doing 70 MPH the whole way. It was always in 6th gear and using cruise control....

The way I look at it is that I knew the gas mileage of this truck when I bought it and it seems that I am right in the middle of these numbers (14 MPG city and 18 MPG hwy)
