I think people forget that it cost money to charge an electric car.

    Yet.

Just like gas. Once everyone is electric, they’ll be able to move the prices and whatever they want.

Also. Go work in the electric Industry. The prices definitely change drastically daily. You should see how much the electric companies were having to pay this summer. What was normally $100/megawatt was up to $9,000/megawatt due to high demand and no supply.

The vehicle inspection process here in Tulsa is pretty amazing. I just had my truck inspection done it cost me four dollars and all the lady did was check my Vin number and mileage. No checks of the headlights, no checks of the tail lights, no checks of the breaks. Amazing

Same where I live, just needs your insurance doesn’t test drive or check anything on the vehicle itself. Five minutes is the most I’ve ever spent there at one time.

It would if the inspectors didn't take bribes lol. I turned down quite a few bribes when i was a state inspector. Not worth the penalty if it came back on me.

Pretty sure the inspection process doesn't have much to do with dick head drivers. More so of the condition their cars are in but thats in.

I used to take the red truck out to the country to get inspected. That secondary bypass would always fail me so i'd drive to a small town and all they did was get in turn it on drive it straight through the bay and honk the horn and give me papers.

Exactly. So watch out for failing brakes, lights, tires and parts falling off of others vehicles lol

Yeah that's not a real safety test lol.
They are.supposed to check all the lights outside.the vehicle and on the dash. Do a brake test by basically flooring it til you pass the first.line and slamming on the brakes at the 2nd line and if you pass the 3rd line you fail. Then check tire tread, under the hood for anything loose.or.missing, windshield wipers, honk horn. Retract seat belts. Make.sure you have at least 2.mirrors and all your lug nuts. Measure window tint. (I always skipped the tint)
Iirc that's it.and in no particular order

You're.supposed to have to get an inspection in the county you're registered to or one comparable. IE: emission county or non emission county. Emission counties surround metropolitan areas.

I've never been anywhere that did that complete list. even the place by my house that does nothing but inspections will skip the highlighted.
