Rolling on the 2nd/3rd gen base steelies and 235/85s for the last year or so. Thought I would post them up before they get changed to the refinished factory alloys, and 31x10.50s.

Got some super cheap FJ steelies to replace my stock Taco ones, cleaned up the rust and slapped some new rubber on. Pretty happy with the results :D

Not sure the hub cap goes with the holes.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, quickly pulled the spare out to see what it might look like. I really like the 255/85r16's and I would have some new shiny versions of the wheels.

Working that out now. Going to use retention clips (I think). Wheels will be here next week so hopefully I will have it worked out soon. I'll post back with what I come up with.

What are those center caps from? I am excited to see pics of those mounted. They have an awesome vintage look to them.

They are repro vintage Toyota caps. Got them from a Land Cruiser site. I'll look for the URL.

Hello all, I ended up with steel wheels after plowing into a boulder at 70mph during a landslide, destroying my driver side tire and rim and swapping the spare wheel on a new tire. I was pleased with the results though...

Got a set of wheels off of a 1st gen tundra.
    I think they look sick.

I had to take off the little mud flap in front of the front tires, and I used a heat gun to push a bevel back on the front mud flap.

I may powdercoat them someday but so far, I'm happy with them.
