Got the Kings 2.5 extended travel, Darkar HD leafpack, and new brake lines installed today!!! Didn’t get to take good photos with the wheels off due to the snow storm that’s decided to spend a night in town.

However, the ride- freakin amazing. I am super impressed and I fell in love with my truck all over again. Highly recommend these to anyone.

I got to experience the snow ride while I was in CO a couple days ago but I’m rocking Fox 2.5

Got the Hooke road rack on my camper finally. A tone of work went into it. I will be getting running boards in December for my bday and I’m trying to sell one of my fishing kayaks to get front and rear bumpers. Still debating on a snorkel. I literally have no reason to have one except I think it looks good on our trucks. Then, exhaust work and lights.

Installed a new shifter bushing on my 6 speed, and man what a difference!!!! I’m at 165k and the shifter was pretty sloppy and spongy feeling. Now it’s precise and crisp like a good potato chip lol

It’s not bad at all! I’ve never done a 2wd but I did my 4x4 and it’s relatively simple. Took about 2 hours all in

I go back and forth on the snorkel too. I like they way they look, but also consider them kind of douche-y (sp?). It does bring in (supposedly) cleaner air because it will no longer pull from the wheel well. I've also read folks claiming to get up to 2mpg back after snorkel install, but I haven't really seen the evidence to support such claims.

If you do go with a snorkel, check with Mike @DobinsonsUSA as they have one that is around $300. There are some complaints about the template being slightly off, but sounds easy enough to remedy.

I found the vinyl flooring thread (DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A 2006 ACCESS CAB) and decided while I was removing the carpet and installing the vinyl, I'd add sound deadener. Since the sound deadener showdown guy retired, I found some old threads and pieced together a sandwich of three different materials that worked. I left the stock gray deadener and added black Noico to the exposed metal areas. Then a layer of 1/4" of CCF and finally the MLV. Road noise has been reduced by at least 50%, if not more. It's going to get even better when I do the rear wall and doors. I still have to finish adding the MLV around the rear storage/seat area.
