I replaced the rear drums on my old F150 last year myself and also the u-joints and hanger bearing at a garage. It then had very bad vibration above 65kmph. The garage told me it could be the new drums I bought were out of balance and/or out of round. I never bother replacing or checking the balance on the drums. Ended up buying a new Taco same as the OP. Mine is smooth running 120kmph. Just use the old ford in town for the dirty jobs.

Talked to another dealer that road forced them and they said go back to my original dealer and ask for Michelin’s. said that two of the tires are a little out of round

yeah I was gonna say the tires, I had FIRESTONE destination ATs put on my 2004 and they shake rattled and rolled, had a Road force balance done did'nt help, I wont buy Firestone/Bridgestones again those AT tires did have the best reviews for AT tires at the time I bought them, if I was to rate them it would be C- overall, they were a terrible highway tire.
