Seems like the right group to ask: anyone have recommendations on a shop in the area that can press wheel bearings? I'll be doing replacement on my Tundra soon and would like to have a place lined out before I tear into things.

    Front or rear, Austin?

I have my HF 20T press at my storage unit in Loveland if you wanted to borrow it and try to do it yourself. I know it can handle the rear bearings but I haven’t tried it on the front bearings yet.

    Let me know.

I'll be tackling the fronts at the same time. Driver has developed a slight vibe/noise over 40mph. Plan is to remove everything myself, then bring into a shop to press in/out. I've never dealt with wheel bearings before, so it'll be a fun endeavor.

Jason, I'd take you up on the offer if I knew what I was doing... but I'm a newb. I've also read claims that a 50 ton press is needed for this job

No worries, man! That’s why I asked which ones you were doing because I’ve heard the same thing about the 1st Gen Taco fronts. @thefatkid told me that the dealership’s 40T(?) press would shake the floor when the front bearings would finally break free  Then again, @Timmah! has a video of him doing the 3rd Gen Runner fronts with the 20T press, so who knows? :D

I don't know where you heard you need a 50 ton press but a 20 ton Harbor Freight Press can handle the front wheel bearing job no problem. I've done front wheel bearings 3 times with my press and it's worked every time.

Get a 20 ton press from Harbor Freight and you'll be golden. The 20 ton press can handle all jobs on your Tacoma. It's money well-spent.

I broke my 1st one trying to do a front wheel bearing. My current 20t has a bent frame from a stuck pinion bearing. They work every time, 80% of the time.

Are there any plans for a November meet up? I have been lurking on here for a few months, but would love to get out & meet some of you. Is anyone a member of the Horsetooth4WH club? I was thinking about checking out one of their meetings as well.
