I would recommend skipping the western portion entirely. Head up to the Cohutta and start there. Start at the westernmost entrance to the Cohutta Wilderness and head north on the Big Frog Loop. You can hit up Jacks River and fish along with other streams that branch off of it.

^^^ This is when this thread simultaneously went up and downhill.

Any other Asian acting rednecks entering themselves into the mix?

Anyone heard from @Kloverz158 in a while? I met him once. He might could be added to the competition.

I'll be there, coming up Friday afternoon with the camper and kiddos. Should be a fun weekend. Never been to Chocco before - there's probably a lot my DCLB on 33s won't be able to do, but it should be a fun time.

There are some tough obstacles, but I'll probably ride the green trails and then jump in with @Built2Ride to hit the harder trails!

Check out Charlie's Creek section then! Good wheeling, good fishing, good camping. If campsites are full in that section, you can drive a little farther to campsites in either direction.

This should definitely make your list on where to visit. By far the most exciting road that is currently open.

And if you want less primitive camping, there are sites before and Wildcat falls as a good option after I believe for camping and fishing.
