    Correct, without the DSIM module there is no "opener" functionality. If you don't need the opener, just get this kit for $95:

    Tailgate Lock Complete Full Package (PNP, Integrated Harness, Actuator, BNL) - No Drilling

    It's a complete kit, nothing else needed, and free shipping.
