If the owner/insured party knew she was driving it, that's fine.

I understand someone who doesn't use car insurance wouldn't understand, but a car is covered under policy as long as the person has a valid license and is authorized to use the vehicle.

No big deal unless it was stolen. Someone other than the registered car is allowed to drive the car they are still covered under the insurance policy.

You're screwed! The judge would say because you were driving uninsured you shouldn't have even been on the road in the first place thus the accident would have never happend. Question is how much damage was there to the other vehicle and person/persons in the other vehicle? Better hope the other drive doesn't claim a neck or back injury or something else serious or they will own your wallet for a very long time. Oh...and if you dont have insurance you may want to stay the F off our roads before you cause a serious accident you will never financially recover from.

OP indicated that her excessive rate of speed made the collision unavoidable... ignoring that the OP could have not cut her off as a way to avoid the collision... it got me thinking how fast she could have been going in his mind to not see her before turning, or seeing her off in the distance, figure he has plenty of time to make the turn (I assume from a stop), but being wrong and she plows into him. Based on my calculations, I'm going to estimate he thinks she was going 178 mph.

Just working my through it, but so far he can’t afford insurance yet is threatening to get an attorney for an accident that is clearly his fault. This may be a world class trolling. I love it! :D

Hell, I love this site. It’s a never ending source of bizarre entertainment.

Not really.... some insurances will not want to cover damages if the driver at the time is not under the policy.

Let this be a lesson to everyone, left turns should be avoided at all costs. UPS has a no left hand turn policy for this reason. I will always use a gas station on the right side of the road, even if its $0.05 cheaper on the left hand side. Its not worth the risk, a $1 savings looks pretty foolish when you get into an accident because of it.

This is why it's 100% legal to smash into rental cars. There's nothing Johnny Law or those bums at the rental places can do about it! You've cracked the code, Columbo!

He’s really staying in character, if so. It’s like the vegan thread! It’s fun when you can’t tell, though my guess has been “troll” on this one.
