I mean, the Tesla probably should’ve stopped, I’ve seen plenty of stuff on the news like that where people on a cross walk get hit because someone’s in to big of a hurry to slow down and go around stopped traffic.

But the 3rd gen dudes still a dewb

If it were a cross walk that'd be a different story entirely...pedestrians always have the right of way especially if there's a cross walk. But turning across traffic because 2 out of 3 lanes have stopped for you doesn't give you right of way.

His initial story made it sound like the Tesla was speeding in the bicycle lane or shoulder to get around traffic, if that were actually the case then he may have been in the clear. But that Tesla was in an actual lane as it turns out

I didn't like it at first, but once you get used to it its almost as fast as actually typing on a keyboard - but 10x more frustrating because you have to correct nearly everything if you go too fast

I'll let ya know. I thought I had made up my mind that I want to go Long Travel, but now I'm looking at Solo's MT set up...

I do not want to run glass fenders. I'm not all that in to the thought of increasing track width 7 inches in the front.

But I do like the thought of added (down) travel, and Solo's approach eliminating the Toyota LBJ is interesting. Also going full LT gives the opportunity to run Tundra CV axles which are a better design than the Tacoma tripod bullcrap.

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
yeah MCM fab LT on Frankenstein. Solo stock LCAs on Igor.

The solo's are nice. But there is some cons to them I don't like. And I had a pretty major incident last month involving them that I need to follow up with them on that was life threatening.

I can't say I'd recommend them at this time until I know why what happened to happened. Before the issue, I liked them but didn't like things about them.

As for LT vs MT. There is NO comparison in terms of how they ride. LT is head and freaking shoulders above it. It is unreal how much it changes the ride for the better. There are a lot of compromises that one much be ready for if going that route though that are sort of obvious(width) but there is a LOT of cost involved that lots overlook.

I can say having both...I miss LT every time Im in the dirt without it. It is so good and so fun. however a good MT setup is still best "all around" do everything without question. And you can really dial in a nice MT setup. But it still won't handle stuff like a LT will. That extra 6''ish of travel is HUGE.

Can go into more detail on all of this if you'd prefer. Possibly in a different thread that doesn't move as fast ha
