ok guys I'm an AVID SNOWBOARDER...since we live in the largest sand box in the US...

I got hook ups at a lot of the Ski Resorts within a 7 hr drive...

California: Mammoth, June, Heavenly, Kirkwood, & Homewood

Utah: Brian Head, Park City, and Canyons

Majority of my time I spend in Utah (Brian Head & Park City) and California (Mammoth) but frequently drive up to Lake Tahoe (at least 2x a year) and Colorado (at least 2x a year) thanks to the EPIC PASS <-click for link; btw is the best season pass I have ever owned and recommend it to all the Colorado guys...

been trying to plan a snowboarding trip with some of my friends for XR-U for quite some time but the last 2 season we weren't able to do it because of unforeseen circumstances...

how many of you guys board or ski? would you guys be interested in planning a weekend where we all can go to shred it up?

this thread is open to conversation not only to the LV Crew...keep in mind if there is a Starwood/Columbia Sussex (Westin) property near by I can get employee discount which will make the weekend even cheaper for all of us...if we head up to mammoth, tahoe, or utah I got some friends there where they will let us crash at their house as long as we don't have to many people going...

I live near by Utah, Salt Lake City, and cant get enough of Little and Big Cottonwood Canyons. Park City is nice but you got to hit up Snowbird! Some of the best terrian Ive ever been on. Totally down if you head in that direction! :D

I want to ride snowbird but with the hook up I get at Park City and Canyons its hard to pass that up...I also prefer all the bowls that park city has...

I agree with Danny tons of good restaurants and bars in walking distance...

yeah that's the sad thing about UTAH...3.2 beer...that's why we normally bring beer from vegas and stock up for the weekend cause it tastes better...:D

do you get hook ups on Snowbird? I always like going to new resorts...

I am still trying to plan our christmas vacation with my parents...right now its between Park City, Utah and Breckenridge, Colorado...I'll keep you posted either way...but my plan this winter is to put my son strapped to my chest with a heavy jacket over me and take him down some easy runs...

    Favorite Ski Resorts (in order):
    1. Park City/Vail
    2. Breckenridge/Mammoth
    3. Alpine Meadows/Squaw Valley
    4. Canyons/Heavenly
    5. Homewood (cause you are right across the street from Lake Tahoe)
    6. Kirkwood/Arapahoe/Sierra-At-Tahoe

it just depends on where I am at, at that time, and what the weather conditions are like...

Yeah I got a buddy with a season pass to Snowbird, hook up with a "buddy pass" Breck is pretty awesome as well, a lot of park choices. But if you havent been to Steamboat, thats an awesome place. Lots of trees, bowls, and the terrian is a blast. As you know Utah does have shitty beer, but it snows more there then Colorado :) And if Wyoming has a good snow year, definitely head up to Jackson Hole and take the Tram to the top! Amazing!

Just to hit on your epic pass comment. Being a Colorado Native I already know which mountains I want to board on. It's a good deal if you like trying every variety of mountain but I just choose to the 2 or 3 I like most and get the other passes with those mountains.

Anyway best of luck on your trip, sounds like a blast.
